Launching next week, Minecraft fans can score a Minecraft Cubeez with every $30 spent at Woolworths or BIG W.
“Blending digital inspiration and interactive play, the program promises to deliver an opportunity for avid Minecraft players and new fans alike to build their own Minecraft adventures, block by block in real life,” said Andrew Hicks, Chief Marketing Officer for Woolworths Group in an announcement.
Don’t shop at Woolworths? Coles has also announced its 2025 collectibles promotion, which is Harry Potter themed.

What is Minecraft?
Released more than 15 years ago, Minecraft is one of the world’s most popular and recognisable video games. It is played in two different modes – survival or creative. As described on the Minecraft website: “You can survive the night or build a work of art – the choice is all yours.” Minecraft is a sandbox game, meaning players can use their creativity to build and play how they choose. Players can build structures and worlds, explore and go on adventures within the game.
The announcement of the new promotion states Big W has seen a 60 per cent increase in sales of Minecraft toys, stationary, clothing, homewares and books year-on-year.
A Minecraft movie is due to hit screens in April.
