If your dream of hosting the ultimate backyard pizza night has been sidelined by a lack of space (or a lack of muscle to move a heavy oven), the Gozney Arc Lite might just change your mind.
The Gozney Arc Lite is the newest (and most compact) member of Gozney’s Arc family, and it’s now available in Australia for $649. Designed for 12-inch pizzas, it weighs just 12kg and heats up to a serious 500°C – which, for context, is the kind of heat that gives you those gorgeous leopard-spotted crusts you’d normally only get at a proper Neapolitan pizza restaurant.
“Everyone deserves to experience cooking with real fire,” says Founder & CEO, Tom Gozney.”That’s where Arc Lite comes in. It’s compact, powerful and easy to use. You can place it on a balcony or take it to your mate’s, and it still kicks out the same flame and heat as our bigger ovens.”
What does the Gozney Arc Lite do?
At its core, the Arc Lite is a gas-powered outdoor pizza oven designed to cook restaurant-style pizza at home – fast.
It runs on LPG and uses Gozney’s signature lateral rolling flame, which moves heat across the roof of the oven to cook toppings and crust evenly. Combined with a 12mm stone floor that stores and releases heat, it’s engineered to deliver crisp bases and evenly cooked toppings in just minutes.
But it’s not limited to pizza. With temperatures climbing to 500°C, it can also handle:
- Searing steaks with a restaurant-quality crust
- Charring seasonal vegetables (think blistered cherry tomatoes or smoky asparagus)
- Flame-finishing seafood like prawns or octopus

How big is the Gozney Arc Lite?
One of the biggest selling points is the size of this compact pizza oven:
- Weight: 12kg
- Pizza Capacity: 1 x 12-inch pizza
- External Dimensions: 430mm (W) x 481mm (D) x 297mm (H)
In practical terms, it’s compact enough to sit comfortably on a balcony bench or smaller outdoor table, without dominating the space.
Who is the Gozney Arc Lite best for?
If you’ve looked at the professional Gozney Dome and thought, “I don’t have the space (or the budget) for that,” this is for you. The Arc Lite feels tailor-made for:
- Apartment and townhouse dwellers with limited outdoor space
- Casual entertainers who want something portable
- Home cooks curious about live-fire cooking
- Families who love DIY pizza nights
If you don’t have the room for a large wood-fired oven, or you simply want something lighter and easier to move, this is a more approachable entry point.
Being gas-powered also means no wood storage, no ash cleanup and faster heat-up times.

How much is the Gozney Arc Lite in Australia?
The Arc Lite is available now in Australia and retails for $649 on the Gozney website.
It comes with a one-year standard warranty, with the option to extend to five years if you register within 60 days. Shipping is also free on oven orders at Gozney.
