Simple, smooth and creamy, buttery mashed celeriac is a fabulous side dish, either in place of or as well as mashed potato.

Method

1.Boil or steam celeriac until tender. Drain.
2.Mash celeriac with most of the butter until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve topped with remaining butter and chives.
